For the strongest hold, apply the magnet to a clean, dry, flat surface with the entire back sitting flush against the vehicle or substrate. Allow the magnet to remain attached overnight before driving so it has adequate time to conform and magnetize to the surface. Regularly remove the magnet to clean and dry both the back of the magnet and the surface underneath before reapplying.
